Continent Of AltairaAltaira is a vast and breathtaking open world that players can explore and create their own adventure. Altaira will feature a variety of topographies from the lush green rolling hills of the west, the frozen territories of the north, the vast forest of the east, and to the burning sea of sand of the south. KreátoraA marvel of engineering and beauty, Kreátora is where our adventurers’ journey begins. Kreátora gets its name from the Krecian cliffs where it resides above. The Krecian cliffs are over a thousand feet high.What lies below is a vast and treacherous ocean with monstrous waves that endlessly break against its cliffside. Kreátora is the capital of the Thearan kingdom and is protected by the Wall of Ages. It took over a century for the Wall of Ages to be built, but since its creation the Thearan capital has never been breached.

The races of altaira

The main races from the four kingdoms are the Humans from the Kingdom of Theara, The Elven from the Kingdom of Illaden, The Kindred from the Kingdom of Kindar, and The Sindarian from the Kingdom of Selbrea.
Humans: are known for their engineering feats such as the Airship and their vast cities. They are also known for their elite class of Knights who protect the Kingdom of Theara to vigilantly patrol its borders.
Elven: are known for their pride and longevity. They are the most secluded of all other races. The Elven are skilled warriors and do not shy away from a fight. Their Kingdom is very restrictive of outsiders and will protect their way of life at all costs.
Kindred: like the Elven, are known for their longevity. Kindred are fair and beautiful. They maintain their youthful appearance throughout their long lifespan. They have an affinity for nature and it’s creatures. It is said that the Kindred themselves descended from the great beast of old.
Sindarian: are a proud and noble race. Their physical prowess surpasses that of the other races and have been trained in combat since childhood. They are a stalwart race, able to endure the harshest environments. The Sindarian have a unique ability to adapt to whatever environment they are in.

Auction House

Altaira’s economy is fueled by the players. The Auction House system allows players to buy and sell to other players in the game using the in-game currency. Players are able to collect resources, items, weapons, and armor to sell on the Auction House. It is up to you as the player to build the wealth and economy of Altaira.

OPEN WORLD BUILDING

Altaira will have an extensive building mechanic that will allow players to construct various types of buildings and structures using resources found in the Continent of Altaira. It is up to players to develop the vast territories of Altaira.Players will be able to build a single dwelling that helps protect them in the wild, or they might band together with other players to build a new settlement, town, or even a fortified city. We aim to deliver a building mechanic that will allow player communities to build Altaira as they see fit.

CRAFTING

Crafting will play an intricate part in Altaira. There will be various crafting professions that a player can take up. Using resources found and gathered in Altaira, players will be able to craft items/potions/food/weapons/armor and more! Crafting skills will also play a role into building structures and settlements. It is up to you as the player to build the world and economy!

WORLD PVP

In the vast open world of Altaira, swords will be drawn from time to time as you compete for items and resources. Wether you fight in defense of others or fight for your own glory, there will be pros and cons to all of your choices. PVP will play a vital role within the game and with destructible structures and destructible terrain, PVP in Altaira will provide a unique experience for all players.

PVP TOURNAMENTS

Players who wish to have their names immortalized in the histories of Altaira will do so in the great arenas of Altaira. Players might find themselves facing hordes of monsters or facing other players in these tournaments. These tournaments will allow players to showcase their skills and to be able to make their name renown in all of Altaira.
